NUTRITIONAL TALK was held in our Parish Room on Saturday 18th May 2019 and it was a successful event. Ermioni Yiassoumis (Andrea’s sister) spoke about essential oils as well. I believe the talk would have gone on for a little longer had not some people wanted to attend the 6:30pm mass. General comments received is that the speakers were lovely, talk was educational, very informative and helpful. The charts shown on the powerpoint were very nice and colourful. The couple of healthy dishes sampled were delicious as well as the many different herbal teas. Some have asked for recipes and they will be sent soon. Thank you to Andrea Cojocaru and Ermioni Yiassoumis for a very well presented talk.

After lunch we were entertained with a dance presentation from the Dabawenyo Group, a song by the M.C. Ela Hidalgo and songs/dances by some of our young parishioners who took part in the pageant. The afternoon ended with a dance performance by the organisers, The Golders Green Group and a closing speech by Deacon Anthony Clark who praised and complimented the entire event. As usual, the food was superb and plentiful, all home cooked by the Filipino group and our young talents were amazing.
